The decision to start the process of rebuilding Oceana was made on Friday during a board meeting, Liseberg writes in the press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201d&quot;We have felt fantastic support from everyone involved. The love that the people of Gothenburg and all of Sweden have shown the project and Liseberg in this difficult time has been invaluable,&quot; says Kurt Eliasson, Chairman of Liseberg&#039;s Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A major fire broke out in Liseberg&#039;s Oceana swimming pool on Monday morning. At least 22 people were slightly injured in the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the risk of collapse, it has not been possible to search large parts of the destroyed building, but on Friday police technicians were granted access to the site. One person was found dead, most likely a 51-year-old man who worked as a construction manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 7pm on Friday evening, the fire department announced that they had completed the operation, but just two hours later they were called back to Oceana.
