Tour operator Apollo Sports and Svensk Simidrott have resumed their partnership. Through the agreement, Apollo Sports becomes the official supplier to Svensk Simidrott and gets an exclusive role in the product segment of travel and training camps. The partnership also means that Apollo Sports becomes a partner of the Swedish Para Swimming National Team.

“We are very pleased to once again collaborate with Svensk Simidrott. We look forward to offering high-quality training camps and trips to both active swimmers and their coaches. We are proud to support parasport, which promotes equal opportunities for all. Our partnership with paraswimming also means that we reach a passionate and loyal target group, which helps to build long-term relationships and positive engagement. Our common goal is to promote Svensk Simidrott and give all our customers a unique experience, regardless of whether they are at the world elite level or exercisers training for a race,” says Daniel Giray, sports director at Apollo.

The agreement means that Swedish Simidrott's paraswimmers will go to training camps at selected Apollo Sports hotels in preparation for important competitions.

– “Swedish Swimming strives to give everyone the opportunity to play sports on equal terms. We are both happy and proud that Apollo and Apollo Sports have chosen us as partners and that they are focusing on creating better training opportunities for the Para Swimming National Team,” says Fredrik Lundin, national captain of the Para Swimming National Team.

Another important focus area within the collaboration is to increase swimming skills. Svensk Simidrott has the opportunity to quality-assert Apollo's swimming schools and swimming activities by training Apollo's tour hosts, instructors and swimming school leaders according to Svensk Simidrott's training program. This means that Apollo's swimming schools will be certified by Svensk Simidrott.

– “Being able to offer swimming lessons to more children and adults is one of the most important tasks within Swedish Simidrott. We are experts in swimming lessons, and it is gratifying that through our collaboration with Apollo we can ensure that more children have the opportunity to learn to swim according to our pedagogy. We are also pleased that Apollo values inclusion, diversity and sees the benefit in giving all people the right to participate in sports regardless of their circumstances. We look forward to a successful and rewarding partnership with Apollo,” says Mikael Jansson, Head of the Swedish Simidrott Federation.

In addition to the collaboration with the para swimming national team, Apollo Sports will offer swimming weeks with coaches from Swedish Swimming at selected destinations.
