Västflyg has previously operated services from Trollhättan Vänersborg to Bromma Airport, but is now expanding its services to the capital and will also operate from Arlanda Airport from October 2. The new route will further strengthen accessibility to and from Western Sweden, which contributes to both increased growth for the business community and offers a smooth transfer further out into the world.

“It is great that Västflyg has chosen to expand its offering with us by also serving Stockholm Arlanda Airport, and a new domestic route is always particularly welcome,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia. A strong domestic flight is crucial for people to be able to meet all over the country and have smooth connections to the rest of the world, regardless of whether they are traveling to meet friends and family, discover new places or do business,” she says.

– We see that there is a need to be able to travel from Trollhättan and further out into the world. From Arlanda there are currently direct flights to many destinations that our immediate area cannot offer. This makes us especially happy to be able to present Arlanda as a destination which enables easier and faster travel for our customers, says Anna Petre, CEO of Västflyg.
