The Dragon Gate hotel complex on the E4 in \u00c4lvkarleby has a new owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dragon Gate, located at the exit to \u00c4lvkarleby, has been sold by the Sisyfos Group to Arossl\u00e4tten properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a press release, there are plans to develop the land in various ways and give more players the opportunity to establish themselves there, such as gas stations and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201d"The hotel building with its constructions is fascinating and a magnet for interest. However, it requires a number of investments and preparations to be put into use for the public, which is an interim goal," writes Arossl\u00e4tten CEO Lars-Gunnar Andersson in a comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was in 2004 that businessman Li Jingchun bought an old hotel on the site, to transform it into \u201dChina\u2019s window to Sweden.\u201d The area includes a large Chinese-style building and a large statue depicting a Buddhist saint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project has been plagued by work environment violations and delays and has changed owners several times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
