The trend has been highlighted by Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller<\/u><\/a> as one of the most important travel trends of 2024 and reflects the increasing demand for milder climates that also enable more active holidays in calmer environments. In Booking.com's<\/u><\/a> Nine Predictions for Travel in 2025<\/em> <\/strong>42% indicates that they prefer to vacation in cooler destinations and 54% that they will increase their evening activities to avoid rising daytime temperatures. 
In Sweden, Swedes' Google searches* on hiking<\/em> increased by 26% and web traffic (among Swedes) on Visit Sweden's<\/u><\/a> website has increased by 21%, where interest in, among other things, the Stockholm archipelago and the recently inaugurated Stockholm Archipelago Trail has increased by 85%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
