Starting Wednesday, it will cost extra. Then you will need a digital entry permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New entry rules come into effect in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressen.se\/tagg\/location\/storbritannien\/\" class=\"\">UK<\/a>&nbsp;on Wednesday, April 2. From then on, Swedish citizens who want to visit the country must have applied for a digital entry permit in advance: ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This also applies to travelers from other European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ETA costs 10 pounds<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entry permit costs 10 British pounds, which is equivalent to about 129 kronor today, and an application can be made either via the app &quot;UK ETA&quot; or via the British government website. An application must be made for each person entering the country, including babies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants for an ETA should usually receive a response within three working days. Once you have received the permit, you are allowed to visit the UK for up to six months within a two-year period, as long as your passport is valid during that period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are certain exceptions when you do not need the digital entry permit, for example if you have a visa or if you have permission to work or study in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source.Expressen.se<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ska du till Storbritannien?
