This compares with \u20ac360 million in the same quarter last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is significantly better than expected. Analysts had expected an average of 688 million euros, according to Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sales during the quarter rose 20 percent to 4.34 billion euros, which was also more than expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High demand for air travel&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the report, demand for air travel is strong during the important summer period, including when competing airlines have capacity problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report will then&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressen.se\/tagg\/organization\/ryanair\/\" class=\"\">Ryanair<\/a>&nbsp;shares have risen by 21 percent since the turn of the year.
