Two cabin crew members were injured in the incident, reports say.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/southwest-flight-abruptly-descends-avoid-mid-air-collision\/story?id=124084290\">ABC News.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plane was only six minutes into its flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas when it lost altitude by about 150 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Passenger Steve Ulasweicz tells ABC News that they felt a &quot;strong drop&quot; and that the pilot shouted that they were forced to carry out a maneuver to avoid a &quot;mid-air collision.&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, Southwest Airlines says the plane was able to continue to Las Vegas without any problems, but that two crew members are being treated for injuries that occurred as a result of the maneuver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airline also says it is working with the FAA to gain a better understanding of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other aircraft that was close to colliding with was reportedly a Hawker Hunter.
