A flight from\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.expressen.se\/tagg\/location\/bali\/\">Bali<\/a>\u00a0to Brisbane in Australia was a tough experience for the passengers \u2013 and now the airline Virgin is forced to replace everyone on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reason: The toilets on the Boeing 737 suddenly became &quot;out of order&quot; in the middle of the six-hour flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201d&quot;A flight from Denpasar to Brisbane on Thursday evening suffered an in-flight problem that affected toilet functionality,&quot;,<\/em>says the airline Virgin in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 An elderly woman could not hold back and had the humiliating experience of urinating in public, says a passenger,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/7news.com.au\/news\/virgin-australia-passengers-forced-to-use-bottles-as-all-three-toilets-break-down-on-bali-to-brisbane-flight-c-19845453\">according to Australian 7News<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cabin crew&#039;s message to other passengers was to try to pee in bottles or &quot;on top of what&#039;s already in the toilet,&quot; the television channel reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The union&#039;s angry statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A male passenger describes to Australian 7News that the toilets quickly became clogged and eventually overflowed with feces, urine and used paper towels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The man further says that &quot;the smell spread through the aircraft and seeped out onto the floor.&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201dWe sincerely apologize to our guests and thank our crew for handling a challenging situation on board.\u201d<\/em>, the airline further writes in its statement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Transport Workers&#039; Union in Australia calls the incident &quot;serious and risky for both staff and passengers.&quot;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAcross the industry, occupational health and safety risks are increasing, with a trend towards prioritizing profits over safety.
