The greatest growth is seen for flexible package tours with scheduled flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apollo sees a sharp increase in summer travel sales heading into 2026, with Greece already standing out as the most popular summer destination. The island of Samos and mainland Greece top the charts, both with sales increases of over 70%.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Summer sales are exceeding expectations, and it is fantastic to see that it is the smaller, genuine Greek destinations that are becoming most popular, says Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Canary Islands are also taking a new position as a summer favorite, with Fuerteventura at the forefront. The Spanish islands have long been popular winter destinations, but are now solidifying their position as year-round favorites \u2013 partly thanks to increased interest in training trips to the sports hotels Playitas Resort and Monte Feliz.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The charter stands strong&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even though Swedes&#039; travel habits are constantly changing, the demand for traditional charter trips remains the same. Apollo&#039;s own concept hotels are still among the organizer&#039;s most popular products, and charter travel is the form of travel that most guests return to year after year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Package travel has taken on a new role among Swedish travelers. It is no longer just about safety and simplicity, but about personal service, tailored hotel choices and a seamless travel experience from start to finish, says Krantz.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growth for flexible package tours&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apollo is also investing heavily in flexible package tours with scheduled flights, and this is where the greatest growth is being seen. Sales have tripled compared to the same time last year.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sxxly.mjt.lu\/lnk\/CAAAB8wOwm8AAAApFSwAALwRD_4AAAABPLcAAAAAACWB3gBpEyaDZcRgHAhhTLmBQ23lvcNzigAjBtw\/5\/VkOgii446bxhagnQ6GukHw\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYXBvbGxvLnNlL3NwYW5pZW4vbWFsbG9yY2E\">Majorca<\/a>&nbsp;is the most popular destination so far, with an increase of over 70%, while Turkey accounts for the largest percentage increase \u2013 doubling from last year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPackage trips with scheduled flights offer unique flexibility, with more departure days and travel lengths to choose from. At the same time, you are still covered by the Package Travel Act, something that is becoming increasingly important for travelers,\u201d explains Krantz.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She emphasizes that these trips do not compete with the classic charter trip, quite the opposite.
