The Center Party will work to close Bromma Airport. This was decided at the party's meeting in Karlstad on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Center Party in Stockholm has previously been in favor of closing it. But many representatives elsewhere in the country with regional airports, such as Halland, Kronoberg and \u00c4ngelholm, want to keep the airport, which they believe facilitates business and job creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 It is an issue for the whole country and not just for Bromma, says Andreas Jo\u00e4ng, group leader for Centern in V\u00e4xj\u00f6, in a debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the meeting voted with the party board, which wants the airport to be closed. The party's arguments include that almost all commercial air traffic has left the airport and that it is therefore too costly for Swedavia to continue operating the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
