Eastern European low-cost airline Wizz Air has applied for permission from the US Department of Transportation to start flights between Britain and the United States, according to a document dated January 26, Reuters reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The application concerns an exemption and license for a foreign airline for both scheduled and charter traffic within the framework of the Open Skies agreement between the countries.
