The Board of Directors of Tallink Grupp has appointed Peep Jalakas as the new CEO and Chairman of the Group Executive Management. He will take office on 6 April 2026 for a three-year term. At the same time, Margus Schults will leave the Group Executive Management Team as of 27 February, but will continue as CEO of the Finnish subsidiary Tallink Silja Oy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incoming CEO Peep Jalakas has been Head of Corporate Banking at AS SEB Pank and a member of the bank's management team since 2023. Over the past 20 years, he has held several senior positions within SEB, including responsibility for corporate customer operations and the credit department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tallink Grupp's current CEO, Paavo N\u00f5gene, announced his resignation last week but will remain in the Group Management until 22 May, after Peep Jalakas has taken over.
