Wasaline reports its best February since operations began in 2013. A total of 18,191 passengers travelled with the shipping company during the month, an increase of 11 per cent compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One contributing factor to the increase is the concept of ice cruises, which have proven to be very popular. Several groups from Europe have chosen to travel with Wasaline to experience the winter landscape in the Kvarken region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Our long-term marketing in Europe is now starting to pay off. We are seeing in particular groups from Germany coming to us to experience nature in a unique winter environment. This segment is growing every year, says Peter St\u00e5hlberg, CEO of Wasaline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also emphasises the positive feedback that the shipping company has received from international guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the current global situation and rising energy prices, some adjustments have been made to the April timetable. The vessel Aurora Botnia will continue to operate on the Tuesday timetable also during April, with minor adjustments to some arrival times.
