Christer has extensive experience in the Swedish tourism industry and most recently comes from the role of CEO and Group Manager at Parks and Resorts. He has also been a member of Visita's board since 2023.<br><br>\u2013 I am honoured by the trust placed in me and look forward to the assignment of creating even better conditions for the Swedish tourism industry. Visita's 6,000 members are a central part of the Swedish labour market and economy. More people need to recognise the importance and potential of the tourism industry as a driver of jobs and integration, says Christer Fogelmarck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tourism industry has faced many challenges in recent years. Several of these remain, but the opportunities are even greater. I will do everything I can to create the greatest possible benefit for all members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christer has a solid background in his role as CEO and Group Manager for Parks and Resorts, while simultaneously demonstrating a strong will and energy to strengthen the entire industry's importance for Sweden, says Visita's Chairman of the Board, Fredrik Reinfeldt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christer Fogelmarck will take up his position as CEO of Visita on 8 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a press release.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christer Fogelmarck har utsetts till ny VD f\u00f6r Visita.
