SMHI warns of high temperatures in large parts of G\u00f6taland this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201d"It is not impossible to reach up to 35 degrees in southeast G\u00f6taland on Saturday," says Johan Lundberg, meteorologist at SMHI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In parts of Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronoberg counties, temperatures are expected to reach at least 33 degrees for several days in a row. An orange warning from SMHI is in effect from Thursday afternoon to Monday evening. From Saturday, parts of Sk\u00e5ne are also included until Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is also a yellow warning for large parts of G\u00f6taland from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201d"In Kalmar and parts of Blekinge it could be around 30 degrees today. In the coming days it is expected to gradually become warmer by one degree a day," says Johan Lundberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, the weather warnings extend to Monday and Sunday, but they may be extended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201d"The heat will ease from the western parts at the beginning of next week, but around Kalmar County and southeast G\u00f6taland it can still be 30 degrees. The worst heat will leave on Tuesday, but the week will continue with just over 25 degrees in Kalmar County," says Johan Lundberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone staying in these areas should pay attention to their body's signals, drink water and take it easy, says Johan Lundberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201dIt may be good not to have too many activities that involve physical exertion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the heat is picking up in the southern parts of the country, milder weather and showers are expected in parts of Svealand and southernmost Norrland this weekend. In the northern parts of the country, temperatures are not expected to be as high as in the south, around 20 degrees, in some places down to 15 degrees, according to Johan Lundberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201dDuring Friday there is also a widespread area of rain moving through central Sweden and central Norrland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
