Air Europa continues its growth and reports another record year. In 2025, the airline's revenue increased to 3.15 billion euros, while profitability improved and over 12.5 million passengers flew with the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sales rose by 7.3 percent compared to the previous year to EUR 3.146 billion. EBITDA increased by 14.5 percent to just over EUR 235 million, while profit before tax improved by 33 percent to EUR 154.6 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Air Europa, the development is based on increased operational efficiency, continued fleet renewal and an expansion of the route network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The results for 2025 and the strong start to 2026 show that the successes of recent years are no coincidence, but the result of methodical work from everyone who is part of Air Europa, says Chairman of the Board Juan Jos\u00e9 Hidalgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the year, 12.5 million passengers traveled with Air Europa, an increase of 2.6 percent compared to 2024. The cabin factor improved to 84.8 percent, while the number of employees increased by 3.5 percent to over 4,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continued expansion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The airline is now continuing its long-term growth plan. In 2026, new routes will open to Oviedo, Seville, Geneva and Johannesburg, while the new transformation plan +Air 28<\/strong> will be implemented over the next two years. The program includes extensive structural and operational changes with a focus on efficiency and continued expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Europa also continues to invest in a more modern fleet of aircraft. The company has signed a contract with Airbus for up to 40 A350-900s and is awaiting deliveries of the new Boeing 737 MAX. The new fleet will contribute to lower fuel consumption and reduced carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company also highlights that it was awarded AirlineRatings.com's Seven Stars PLUS<\/strong>-certification for aviation safety and Cirium Gold certification<\/strong> as one of the world's four most efficient airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
