The Swedish team behind the wine service Vinb\u00f6rsen launches Wineryway.com \u2013 a new international platform that will make it easier to find and plan visits to wineries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch comes as interest in wine tourism continues to grow. According to analyst firm Persistence Market Research, the global wine tourism market is expected to reach $57.4 billion by 2026, driven by increased demand for experiential travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wineryway brings together information about wineries, wine regions and destinations on a common platform. The service is based on AI that collects and structures information from thousands of wine producers, even smaller wineries with limited digital presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 The big problem with global wine tourism is not the lack of vineyards, but the lack of structured data. By building Wineryway around an advanced AI engine, we can collect, analyze and map information from thousands of independent producers in real time, says Lowe B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m, who together with Alex Meijer is behind the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The platform includes an interactive world map where users can find wineries and plan travel routes, producer profiles with information about wineries and their wines, and guides to wine regions, appellations and local wine laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The target group is both tourists interested in wine and more experienced wine travelers looking for new producers and destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
