But now the locals are resisting. There were 30,000 demonstrators protesting against mass tourism in Palma, British reports\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2026\/07\/25\/mallorca-see-30-000-protesters-collapse-streets-anti-tourism-rally-tomorrow-29221310\/\">Underground<\/a>.
