Wizz Air will open a new direct route between Malm\u00f6 and Pristina on December 15, 2026. The route will be operated three times a week with Airbus A321neo and will be another connection from Malm\u00f6 Airport to southeastern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new route between Malm\u00f6 Airport and Kosovo's capital Pristina will have departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wizz Air will use Airbus A321neo with 239 seats on the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Wizz Air's investment in another direct route from Malm\u00f6 Airport is a clear sign of the continued high demand for international travel to and from Sweden, says Aron Backstr\u00f6m, Chief Commercial Officer at Swedavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He points out that the line can be used for both tourist and business trips, as well as by travelers visiting family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pristina is the capital and economic center of Kosovo. The connections between Kosovo and other parts of Europe are also important for the large Kosovar diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wizz Air describes the new route as part of the company's continued expansion in Northern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
