The Nordic Business Travel Awards were created in order to reward and acknowledge Best In Class among Nordic travel providers by the Nordic Bench Institute in co-operation with the Danish; Finnish; Norwegian and Swedish Business Travel Associations. In true Nordic style the independent assessment process is robust involving a survey among buyer members of the Nordic business travel associations to evaluate the various travel service providers their companies use.
Lotten Fowler of Swedish Business Travel Association commented:
‘Business travel fuels business growth in our region and so we are dependent on the industry to help us on our way. These providers deliver excellent support not only to the all-important business travellers but also the corporate travel manager responsible for managing this spend.’
The prize ceremony was held at the annual ”Nordic Business Travel Summit”, which is a forum for buyers and providers in business travel to meet for education, networking and exchange of experiences. The Summit alternates between the four Nordic countries each year.
