Swedish bus stopped with tons of snow on the roof

Swiss police stopped a Swedish bus driving on the motorway with a 40-centimetre thick layer of snow on its roof.

The police estimate that the mass of snow weighed 1.6 tonnes.
Driving with so much snow on the roof poses a ”significant risk” of snow blocks and ice falling off and hitting other road users, according to police who stopped the bus on its journey towards Zurich on Saturday in Oensingen.
The bus driver was reported for reckless driving and was forced to clear the snow from the roof before the journey could continue.
