The 150-room hotel at Renmarkstorget in Umeå is expected to open in the summer of 2018.

Comfort Hotel's concept of affordable hotel rooms in the middle of the city has proven to be very popular in Umeå. Due to high demand, another Comfort Hotel is now opening in central Umeå.

The 150-room hotel is being built and operated by Hilding Hotel Group through a franchise agreement with Nordic Choice Hotels chain Comfort Hotel. The hotel, like the existing Comfort Hotel Winn, will be located in the heart of central Umeå on Storgatan. The hotel will have social areas, a breakfast restaurant, a bar, a sauna and a gym.

Comfort Hotel is owned by Petter Stordalen's hotel group Nordic Choice Hotels and operates 32 hotels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Lithuania.
