In collaboration with Finnair, the airline BRA is now launching a direct route between Malmö Airport and Helsinki Vantaa Airport once a day, six times a week.

There will be flights every weekday and on Sundays. The first flight will take off on April 16, 2018.

The new Helsinki route from Malmö is a so-called code-share flight through Finnair and will therefore be bookable through both airlines. The people of Skåne now have access to Finnair's large network, consisting of 19 Asian cities and 100 European destinations directly from Malmö Airport.

The flights will be operated with one of BRA's Avro RJ jets, which can accommodate 112 passengers. The flight time will be 1 hour and 45 minutes, departing from Malmö at 11:45 and departing from Helsinki at 15:30.

– The new Helsinki route via Malmö Airport will be the fastest, smoothest and easiest route between Skåne and Asia. It opens up exciting opportunities for both business and tourism directly to Skåne from Finland and Asia, says Pernilla Lyberg, Regional Manager in Malmö for the airline BRA.
