This will be the second summer that Destination Gotland operates the Västervik–Visby route. And ahead of the upcoming season, the company is now announcing that there will be some changes.

Among other things, the season will be extended at both ends. The first trip will be on June 1st, twenty days earlier than previously announced, and the ferries will continue to run until August 20th – a week longer than in the summer of 2017.

In addition to this, Destination Gotland promises more departures.

– It is incredibly fun that we can make this investment, which not only means more trips but also a lot of departures that can actually suit those from Gotland who want to use the line for, for example, a weekend in Västervik, says CEO Christer Bruzelius in a press release.
