It was really educational to gain insight into all parts of the organization, during a period when the entire brand was being reshaped. And then to end my year as a trainee by signing on as hotel director for Comfort Hotel Jazz of course feels absolutely fantastic. The hotel has great potential and I am excited to develop both it and the staff – while I myself continue to develop as a leader. The goal is for us to be the best in service in all of Borås, says Marcus Sandén.

Marcus is almost obsessed with guest satisfaction and service. In 2015, he received the SKAPA Future Innovator award in Värmland for his service in.serv. An app that helps restaurants increase their profitability and at the same time have happier guests. Marcus has worked in the hotel industry since 2011 and has built up an impressive resume from Munich, Hamburg, Oslo, Bergen, Copenhagen and Stockholm during that time. In 2017, he was named one of the top young talents within Nordic Choice Hotels.
