Lufthansa extends contract with CEO Carsten Spohr

German airline giant Lufthansa has extended the employment of CEO Carsten Spohr for another five years.

This is stated in a press release. Under the new contract, Carsten Spohr will lead Lufthansa until December 2023. He joined Lufthansa in 2011 and has been CEO since 2014.

”"Carsten Spohr has consistently and very successfully advanced the modernization of Lufthansa in recent years. He has the highest degree of confidence from all members of the board, who unanimously recommended that his contract be extended," it says.
