
The shipping company Scandlines changes ownership.
A British consortium in the form of First State Investments and Hermes Investment Management is paying 1.7 billion euros, equivalent to 17 billion euros, to the former main owners, the private equity fund 3i.
Scandlines, which operates ferry services between Denmark and Germany, will in future have an ownership structure where 3i owns 35 percent of the company, First State Investment 50.1 percent and Hermes Investment 14.9 percent.
