PAAVO NÕGENE BECOMES NEW CEO OF TALLINK GROUP

The Supervisory Board of Tallink Grupp has elected Paavo Nõgene as a new board member of AS Tallink Grupp, and appointed Nõgene as the new CEO, effective May 1, 2018.

The current CEO of Tallink Grupp, Janek Stalmeister, will remain as a member of the board.

Paavo Nõgene has previously worked as Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture of Estonia since 1 January 2013. Before that, Paavo Nõgene was the CEO of Estonia's largest theatre, Vanemuine, and previously worked in private entrepreneurship.

Paavo Nõgene is currently a board member of the Estonian National Broadcasting and National Opera, as well as the chairman of the boards of the SA Estonian Art Museum, SA Estonian Concert, SA Estonian Drama Theatre, SA Theatre Vanemuine and SA Estonian Film Institute. He is also a member of the Estonian Gambling Tax Board.

Paavo Nõgene holds a degree in journalism and communications from the University of Tartu.

Paavo Nõgene's term of office is three years. Nõgene does not own any shares in the company.
