Finnair's passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), increased by 23.4 percent in March, compared to the same month last year.
The driving factor was increased demand for long-distance travel by private individuals.
Capacity, measured as ASK, increased by 18.2 percent while the passenger load factor increased by 3.5 percentage points to 84.5 percent.
In total, all companies within the Finnair Group transported close to 1.1 million passengers during the month, just over 17 percent more than in the same month the previous year.
