Wizz Air takes off significantly

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air can look back on a profitable financial year.

Net profit ended at 275 million euros, just over 2.8 billion Swedish kronor for the fiscal year ended March 31. This was 22 percent better than the previous year.

The company is also optimistic about 2018-19, where the estimate is a profit of between 310–340 million euros. Wizz Air, which flies from Skavsta outside Nyköping, among other places, has a primary focus on destinations in Central and Southeastern Europe.
