The airline Norwegian will begin flying between Dublin in Ireland and Hamilton/Toronto in Canada.
It is the company's first route between Europe and Canada. The new daily route will start on March 31 next year, according to a press release.
”"It has been a year since we launched the company's first transatlantic route with the Boeing 737 MAX and we are seeing great demand. This is our very first route between Europe and Canada and it is gratifying to be able to offer both new and existing passengers on both sides of the Atlantic affordable tickets at good quality in our new, fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft," says Norwegian CEO Bjørn Kjos.
Hamilton is located in the Canadian province of Ontario. Canada's largest city, Toronto, is just under an hour's drive from Hamilton. Niagara Falls is an hour's drive away, as is the American city of Buffalo, located in the state of New York.
