The real estate company Balder, together with Folkets Hus and the hotel operator Nordic Choice, has entered into an agreement to develop, build and operate a hotel at Järntorget in Gothenburg.

The city council approved the detailed plan for the area on June 7, and construction of the new hotel is expected to begin in February 2019, according to a press release. The 33-story building will house 453 hotel rooms.
