– Many of our travelers book their trips well in advance; in May, 85 percent of our summer bookings are already made, says Fredrik Henriksson, Head of Communications at Ving.

– The weather has a bit of an impact, there are a few more last-minute trips now, but at the same time there are 7-8 percent more people who have booked trips this summer compared to last year, says Henriksson.

SAS has also noticed that more people are traveling. In June, 2.9 million travelers chose to travel, which is the airline's highest passenger number in a single month ever.
– During the holiday season, many people choose to travel, we can see that it was the case in June, but the high-intensity period is still in July when leisure travel increases, says Freja Annamatz, press manager for SAS in Sweden.
Tui has also not noticed any difference in the number of trips booked due to the heat.
– Weather can have an impact in general, but we are satisfied with the season's bookings, most people book early to secure the summer, says Magnus Hürttenbieren, press contact at Tui.
