Åland-based shipping giant Viking Line saw an increase in passengers in July when measuring comparable units.
The month is the second best in the shipping company's history. Last year volumes were higher, but the company had extra capacity then. The increase for July this year is over 4 percent compared to last year if Viking Faster is excluded. The company states that price competition has been fierce.
