Passenger record for Norwegian in July

Norwegian low-cost airline Norwegian increased its passenger numbers by 13 percent to nearly 3.8 million people in July, which is the highest number of passengers ever in a single month.

The previous month, the increase rate was 14 percent. The cabin factor, which measures how full the plane is, was 93 percent.

RPK, which is a key figure that measures revenue per kilometer, increased by 33 percent, according to a press release.

Capacity growth, ASK, increased by 35 percent. Norwegian NAS +0.42% operated 99.2 percent of its scheduled flights in July.

Punctuality was 67.9 percent, which is said to have been greatly affected by extensive air traffic controller strikes in Europe.
