In mid-September, he will take up the position of CEO and hotel director of Stockholm's largest hotel, Clarion Hotel Sign.

– We have done fantastic things together and created results few dared to dream of. The establishment of Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live and Clarion Hotel Air, the takeover of Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport and not least our hugely successful market entry with two hotels in Finland – Clarion Hotel Helsinki and Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport. We have also launched no less than 8 new, really large hotel projects that will see the light of day in 2019-2022 and I am thinking of Gothenburg x 2, Oslo x 2, Umeå, Luleå, Sundsvall and Helsingborg. To now once again step into the role of hotel director, to continue to be part of Clarion, to lead the group's flagship hotel and at the same time have an everyday life in Stockholm with friends and family is something I am very much looking forward to, says Berghult.

Henrik joined Nordic Choice Hotels in August 2013. At the time, he was CEO and Hotel Director of the recently opened Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport. He quickly made a name for himself in the group and when the position of head of the entire Clarion portfolio in the Nordics was to be filled, Berghult was chosen. Katalin Paldeak was the one who recruited Henrik to Nordic Choice Hotels.

– Henrik has incredible sharpness and drive. As he moves on, I am extremely happy that he has chosen to remain with the company. He is attractive in the market and the fact that he has chosen to remain with Nordic Choice Hotels is a good mark on us as a company, but also that Henrik is a man with the ability to make wise decisions, says Katalin Paldeak.

In June, Jessica Norgren announced that she had chosen to leave her role as CEO of Clarion Hotel Sign. The 10-year-old hotel, which has been renovated and rebuilt over the past year, is now equipped to continue challenging the hotel industry and continue to offer fantastic guest experiences.

– Clarion Hotel Sign is one of Stockholm's most important hotels and it needs a leader with great execution and who, together with his team, can lead the way in developing the industry. Henrik is perfect for the role and I feel extremely confident with him in that position, says Katalin Paldeak.
