14,049 to be exact. Of course, it should be celebrated! On Friday, August 24th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the municipality will be offering ice cream at Nytorget in Arboga.

This morning, Statistics Sweden (SCB) presented new population statistics. They show that Arboga municipality has increased by 115 inhabitants – from 13,934 to 14,049 since the turn of the year.

– It is very enjoyable and positive that the population is increasing and that we are now over 14,000 inhabitants. It shows that we are an attractive municipality. Surveys have also shown that citizen satisfaction is increasing, which is positive for the development of the municipality, says Anders Röhfors (M), chairman of the municipal board in Arboga.
