Storm Florence continues to gather strength across the Atlantic.
It is currently a Category 1 hurricane on the five-point scale, but is only expected to strengthen until it reaches the southeastern United States on Thursday.
On Monday morning Swedish time, the eye of the hurricane was located about 900 kilometers northeast of the northeasternmost populated islands in the Caribbean, according to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC).
Further down in the Atlantic, the next hurricane, Helene, is already lurking. To what extent it will become a greater threat is still unclear.
