In early 2020, SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado will open its doors in one of the most iconic neighbourhoods of the Cuban capital, Havana.

The guests will be met by beautiful design and interiors created in collaboration with world-renowned fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

– Havana is the perfect place to introduce SO/- brand’s vibrant and playful interpretation of luxury. Here, local culture, entertainment, and culinary experiences are blended with the hotel’s sense of service and innovative luxury design, says Heather McCrory, Executive VP Operations for AccorHotels in North and Central America.

SO/ Hotels & Resorts is one of AccorHotels' fastest-growing luxury brands. With an exclusive lifestyle concept and uniquely designed facilities, the hotels have become trendy meeting places around the world. And SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado will be no exception – the hotel's design, interiors, and staff uniforms have been meticulously envisioned by the world-renowned Spanish fashion designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

– I'm very excited to be part of the design of the new SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado. Havana is a magically colourful city and the design process therefore came quite naturally. Cuba's love for dance was my biggest source of inspiration, says Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

- The Cuban tourism sector, like the country in general, has taken great strides in recent years. Not least for our Nordic travellers, this means that more people now see Cuba as an exciting destination for both holidays and business. The launch of SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado contributes a new unique hotel concept for those who choose to visit Havana, says Jan Birkelund, head of sales and distribution at AccorHotels in the Nordics.

SO/ Havana Paseo del Prado will comprise 10 floors with 250 rooms, of which 36 are larger suites. Guests will have access to five restaurants and bars serving local specialities, including an exclusive chocolate café. The hotel also offers three large meeting rooms, a 400-square-metre SO/ SPA with six treatment rooms, a spacious SO/ FIT gym, and a swimming pool with an adjoining pool bar. And in keeping with the brand's trendy profile, the hottest artists and DJs will also be invited to the hotel to create the city's best parties.
