SAS CEO Rickard Gustafson will no longer protest plans for a Norwegian air passenger fee if the money is spent on biofuel.
”"We need a transitional solution towards zero emissions from the aviation industry, and biofuels are absolutely necessary to achieve that goal. Today they are too expensive to buy. If we are to start large-scale production of biofuels, political initiatives are needed," he tells Dagens Næringsliv.
The controversial fee was introduced in 2016.
