Indonesia is rerouting all air traffic around the Anak Krakatau volcano between Java and Sumatra, after it spewed new ash columns into the air.

A collapsing crater on the volcanic island on Saturday led to catastrophic tsunami waves that killed at least 400 people.

The authorities have raised the alert level for the volcano to the second highest, and introduced a five-kilometer zone around the volcano that is not allowed to be entered.
