Snow cancels US flights

A major snowstorm in the eastern United States is causing problems for air traffic, mainly around Washington DC.

Over 1,600 departures have been canceled, and several delays are expected for air traffic across the Atlantic.
At Washington's Ronald Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport, all traffic was stopped early Sunday.

The storm moved into the central United States this weekend, and so far seven people have died in weather-related accidents in Missouri and Kansas.
