Yesterday, the airline Wizz Air launched its latest direct route, which will fly twice a week between Malmö Airport and the beautifully located city of Ohrid in North Macedonia.
The new line premieres on 18 March 2019 and thereafter the route will be flown on Mondays and Fridays with an Airbus A320.
Wizz Air's new direct route to Ohrid is a perfect weekend destination to the Mediterranean beaches. The city is one of the most visited destinations in Macedonia and is located next to Lake Ohrid, which connects Albania with Macedonia. From Ohrid, it is only a little over an hour's drive to Greece.
