Boeing pauses deliveries of accident-hit planes

On Thursday, Boeing announced that it was pausing deliveries of its 737 Max planes after the fatal accident in Ethiopia, writes Reuters.

It was last Sunday that the second plane crash of the Boeing 737 Max 8 model occurred. On Tuesday, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) announced that it was halting all flights with the model.

During the week, a total of 54 of the world's airlines have been forced to cancel flights with 350 of their planes.

On Thursday evening, Boeing announced that it had chosen to pause deliveries of its 737 Max planes.
