The passengers boarded the SAS plane in Copenhagen and thought they were flying to Florence. But instead they landed in Bologna, ten kilometers from their intended destination.

Cause: The pilots lacked a programmed route to Florence.

– It is probably the human factor in this case. It is of course very regrettable that the passengers do not arrive at their destination directly but have to take a bus from Bologna, but safety always comes first, says Freja Annamatz, press manager at SAS, to Kvällsposten.

The plane that took off from Copenhagen at noon on Thursday was delayed by more than an hour. And after landing, the passengers had to take a bus to Florence. "It's so embarrassing," one passenger told the newspaper about the miss.
