Caroline Strand is CEO of Visit Stockholm as of May 7, 2019. She will lead the operations and contribute to increased sustainable growth by developing the visitor destination and strengthening the Stockholm brand.

CEO of Stockholm Business Region and Chairman of Visit Stockholm, Staffan Ingvarsson, has appointed Caroline Strand as CEO of Visit Stockholm. Caroline has been acting CEO since April 2018.

– Jag is very happy that Caroline has accepted and I am convinced that she is the right person to continue developing Visit Stockholm. With her long experience in business development, marketing and leadership, Caroline has the right qualities for the job., says Staffan Ingvarsson.

Stockholm is an important driver for Sweden with 14.5 million guest nights. The growth rate is positive and the county's commercial guest nights increased by 3.5 percent in 2018.

– The tourism industry and our guests who choose to travel to Stockholm have an incredibly important role in Stockholm's development.
