Danish hotel booking company Nustay, which is traded on the Spotlight Stock Market, has reported competitors Expedia and Booking.com to the EU for systematically hindering competition.

According to Nustay, Expedia and Booking.com penalize hotels if Nustay (or other players) offer more competitive prices, thereby preventing travelers from getting better hotel prices than would otherwise be the case, it says.

Nustay refers to the fact that what the above-mentioned competitors are doing violates certain pricing rules within the EU and wants the competition authority in Brussels to look into the matter.
