A 25-year-old woman has been fined more than $100,000 for forcing a plane from London to Turkey to turn around halfway through. The reason: She tried to rip open the door.

The incident occurred in late June during a flight from London Stansted to Dalaman, Turkey, the airline Jet2 said in a press release. The company wrote that the woman exhibited a ”spectrum of aggressive, abusive and dangerous behavior.”. 

After she tried to open the plane door mid-flight, staff and fellow passengers had to restrain her. The plane then turned back to Stansted.

According to media reports, two British Typhoon fighter jets were also sent to escort the jet back.

Now Jet2 has sent the woman a bill for $106,000, almost a million kronor, which they say they are determined to get paid for.
