Three people fainted on Wednesday morning on an airplane that had just left Arlanda en route to Bodrum in Turkey, reports Aftonbladet.

An eyewitness said a woman collapsed in the aisle as the plane reached a couple of thousand feet. Two other passengers fainted shortly afterwards.

According to the witness, a flight attendant said that the pressure in the cabin might be too low.

– I can confirm that three people were helped by the staff with oxygen during the climb after takeoff. It is difficult for me to speculate on what exactly happened to these people, says Freja Annamatz, press manager at SAS in Sweden, to Aftonbladet.

“They also increased the air supply in the cabin as an extra safety measure. But it had nothing to do with the cabin pressure on the plane,” she says.
